Doorway play lets you create new positions using the space you already have. There is no need for permanent furniture or complicated fittings.

Always read the product instructions before setting anything up. Check that the door, frame and hinges are strong enough. Follow the stated weight limit and make sure the straps are fitted on the correct side of the door.

Close and secure the door before use. Apply light pressure to test the setup, then inspect every strap, buckle and attachment point. Stop if the door moves, the frame creaks or a strap begins to slip.

Add padded wrist or ankle cuffs for comfort. A blindfold or gentle sensory toy can also bring more anticipation to the experience.
